This made me laugh – in the Times today, it was reported that the “Human Shields” who went out to Baghdad to stop the bombing are on their way home.

“Many of those returning have either run out of money or are concerned for their safety after the Iraqi authorities began to dictate which sites they could ‘protect’. Christiaan Briggs, a co-ordinator for the action group, said: ‘Now we are being told we cannot go to certain sites, such as hospitals, so we are reassessing our strategy…'”

Hell, I’ll be a human shield, but don’t put me in the firing line….

Ah. Yes. The Christmas list never came. Oops. Anyway, I got lots of what I wanted. Now this is an interesting site to while away the long winternet evenings – the date of Easter Day for 100 years.
