Just returned from weekend at the family cottage in Glenisla. We had amazing weather, but that’s what you get at this time of the year if you’re lucky in Scotland. I have put a page with photos from the weekend of the various participants here.

I’ve had two pretty good bargain price wines over the past week. The first is Glenloth Shiraz Cabernet which my brother unearthed at Oddbins (£3.99), and the second is Tesco’s Finest Argentinian Malbec Reserve (£3.99) which you can find at the Tesco Winestore. I’m also going to create a recipe section of this site to hold various recipes that I’ve used.

Ruthie’s demanded a picture of their new baby eilidh be displayed on the website. Well OK then, if I have to. Here’s one from Eilidh’s third day, and here’s one of Eilidh and Isobel, Ian and Cath McDonald’s little girl.
